What makes our handcrafting process so special?

CHOICES
Most of our pieces are available in your choice of seven types of hardwood. We offer 32 different stain colors and a large selection of hardware.

THREE STEP SANDING PROCESS
The first step involves a belt type sander and removes all planer marks. The second step, started immediately before the staining process, is done with a handheld, air-powered sander in which the craftsman uses his free hand to feel the wood's smoothness. To ensure a smooth finish, the third sanding is done by hand with sandpaper, after the sealer has been applied.
QUALITY FINISH
All our stains are hand applied, and then we spray catalyzed varnish to assure a smooth and even finish. This finish is resistant to water, alcohol, coffee and fruit juices.

QUALITY DRAWER CONSTRUCTION
Our drawers feature dovetail joints both front and back. Each drawer is finished both inside and out so that clothing will never be snagged by a rough edge. There are smooth-riding glides on all of our drawers. The depth of the drawers on our pieces reaches the full depth of the cabinet and thus giving you more storage space.

QUALITY DOOR CONSTRUCTION
All of our raised or flat panel doors are frame and panel construction. CABINET BACKING - The backs of all our hutches, cabinets and case goods are either solid wood or quality veneered plywood. No particle board is used.

OUR TABLES
Most of our tables feature a 1-inch thick top and our tables are finished on ALL sides to block moisture, which helps to eliminate warping . Equalized geared guides are used on our pedestal tables and heavy duty wood guides are used on our four and five legged tables.
